For as long as I can remember, I've believed that every decade has something uniquely special. In my 20s, it was all about being independent and gaining freedom. My 30s brought the beautiful chaos of children and the pure joy of their growth. By my 40s, I felt more confident in who I was, and I thought my 50s would be a return to freedom, with kids out of the house and financial ease.

However, my 50s have come on the heels of a hard season and financial setback. It feels like I'm 20 again, at the beginning of a whole new beginning. This time, I'm stronger.  This time I'm grounded.  This time I'm starring with the lessons, knowledge, and wisdom I didn't possess in my earlier years. This blog is my journey in designing the life I want, to embrace and celebrate being over 50. 

I'm determined to keep growing, shape my life based on my true self, and draw strength from my faith. Join me on this transformative journey as we explore our deeper connection with the Father, prioritize our health, nurture new habits, manage our finances, and savor the profound freedom that only the Lord Jesus Christ can offer.
